  • Support key commercial activities on dedicated product development projects for sequencing platform management software and analysis tools to drive customer focus throughout the process
  • Drive commercial success of on-market products
  • Provide technical commercial support and guidance to regional commercial teams on the product portfolio and customer interactions as needed
  • Identify and evaluate product gaps and opportunities based on market, customer and competitive data analysis
  • Utilize VOC to create, refine, analyze and prioritize product requirements from existing and potential customers
  • Contribute to planning and execution of marketing strategy incl. branding management, clear positioning, and messaging as a subject matter expert
  • Help drive and coordinate development of marketing and educational collateral and activities for software products and analysis tools
  • Support strategy and co-promotional activities with key data analysis collaborators
  • Contribute to International Business Team meetings (IBT)
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the global market for the appropriate market segments
  • Foster a strong team spirit and take on the role of ‘product champion'
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Associate International Product Manager - Sequencing Systems Software

The Opportunity:

The Associate International Product Manager, Sequencing Systems Software, is responsible for driving the global brand and product strategy for the AXELIOS 1 software and analysis ecosystem, and for delivering on its execution.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The key accountabilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Support key commercial activities on dedicated product development projects for sequencing platform management software and analysis tools to drive customer focus throughout the process

Who You Are:

The following are requirements for the individual in this position:

  • University Degree in Marketing, Science or related technical discipline

  • 1 - 2 years sales/marketing experience in life sciences, diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience with sequencing products, software and analysis tools, and understanding of laboratory needs strongly preferred

  • Experience in product management/development or successful track record with complex product launches desired

  • Experience with software lifecycle, software engineering and or bioinformatics desired

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams autonomously

Location: Remote – This position can be based anywhere in the US.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pleasanton, CA is $109,100- $202,500.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
