Audit Manager

Our client, an international audit, tax, and advisory firm, is currently looking for an Audit Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver tailored, high-quality assurance services to a diverse client base and to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and supportive environment.

This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €40K.

Please note that due to the urgency of the role, only candidates who are based in Malta can be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage, build, and maintain relationships with a diversified portfolio of clients

• Lead and mentor team members, and perform technical reviews of their audit work

• Manage the preparation of engagement plans while ensuring appropriate resources are assigned

• Negotiate fees alongside the partner and take commercial responsibility for each client's profitability

• Identify client needs and support partners in developing tailored solutions

• Carry out sales activities with clients

• Develop and coach staff, providing regular, constructive appraisals

Education, Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified Accountant

• 5+ years of experience in auditing in Malta

• Previous experience in leading and mentoring junior team members

• Fluency in Maltese and English, both written and spoken

• Experience in auditing of igaming or financial services companies are preferred

• Proactive with a positive can-do attitude
