About the role:
Reporting to the Catalogue and Product Manager, as the Catalogue & Product Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, complete and reliable product catalogue information. You will research automotive parts, manage catalogue data and cross-referencing, and support product-range opportunities across the business.

This role requires strong attention to detail, parts interpretation skills and the ability to manage high-volume data in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion APG Values - Customer First, Smart Service, One Team and Safe for All.

  • Research, create and maintain accurate product and catalogue listings.

  • Perform data entry and manage parent/child listings, cross-references and supersessions.

  • Review, audit and maintain catalogue data to support accurate internal and external product information.

  • Research manufacturer and industry information to identify range gaps and new product opportunities.

  • Support sales and purchasing teams with parts interpretation, product enquiries and catalogue information.

  • Assist with product training and ensure product information is communicated consistently across the business.

  • Identify opportunities to improve catalogue processes, data quality and reporting.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in automotive parts interpretation, cataloguing, product data or a similar role.

  • Strong data-entry skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience using Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPCs), catalogue systems or similar databases.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to research, interpret and cross-reference automotive parts information.

  • Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
