About the Role
CloudThat is looking for a passionate AWS Solution Architect (SME) to design, implement, and support cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on AWS experience, good customer interaction skills, and a willingness to work on cloud transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate AWS services.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization projects.
- Create solution architectures, technical documentation, and best practices.
- Conduct technical workshops, demos, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with delivery, pre-sales, and customer teams.
- Ensure cloud security, governance, and operational excellence.
Required Skills
- 3.5 to 6.5 years of IT experience with strong AWS expertise.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and EKS/ECS.
- Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Basic knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
- Exposure to migration and modernization projects.
- Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and automation tools is an added advantage.
