Backend Developer

Job Title: Backend Developer. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain backend logic, APIs, and services using Python (Django, Django REST Framework) and/or Node.js. • Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for data modeling, queries, and performance optimization. • Write clean, scalable, and efficient backend code with proper documentation. • Integrate with front-end components, third-party APIs, and internal services. • Ensure security and data protection practices are followed in application development. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers and designers. • Participate in code reviews and team discussions to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing. Required Skills: • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF). • Good understanding of PostgreSQL and MongoDB. • Basic knowledge of Node.js with JavaScript/TypeScript. • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. Good to Have (Optional/Advantageous): • Exposure to Docker or basic DevOps concepts. • Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI. • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/GCP (even at a basic level). • Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
