Senior Applications Engineer

At Halma India, We have a team of over 280 professionals representing commercial, digital, business support group and support functions across our seven offices in India, two in Bengaluru and one each in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Thanjavur, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad.

Responsibilities (KRAs / deliverables / job expectations):

• Understand customer application needs and recommend the best product configuration.
• Act as a trusted advisor and provide solution consultation.
• Engage with existing and potential customers to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Support qualification testing of new products.
• Record customer issues and document resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for product and solution improvement.
• Provide feedback to R&D and influence product requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of customers, competitors, and market solutions.
• Deliver remote and on-site technical support.
• Conduct technical demonstrations, training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Mentor junior team members.

Academic qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Optics, or a related technical field.
• Master's Degree (M.S.) or Ph.D. preferred.
  

Experience (exposure):

• 5+ years of experience in Applications Engineering.
• Strong experience in spectroscopy, customer application support, and solution consulting.
• Experience in product qualification, technical training, and customer engagement.
• Exposure to cross functional collaboration with Sales and R&D teams.
