Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IIoT Solution Architect with expertise in Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) and industrial data platforms to lead large-scale digital transformation programs across Energy & Utility organizations. This role combines industrial domain expertise, enterprise architecture, Industrial IoT, OT/IT convergence, and data platform leadership to deliver scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency, asset performance, and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Industrial Data Platforms using Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).

• Design and implement solutions supporting asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, digital twins, operational intelligence, reliability improvement, and sustainability initiatives.

• Integrate OT systems including SCADA, DCS, PLCs, Historians, and edge systems with enterprise platforms such as ERP, EAM, GIS, Data Lakes, and cloud ecosystems.

• Define enterprise data models, asset contextualization strategies, metadata frameworks, and industrial data governance standards.

• Drive Energy Transition use cases including renewable asset management, grid modernization, operational efficiency, emissions monitoring, and reliability enhancement.

• Establish best practices for industrial data architecture, cybersecurity, scalability, and high-availability solution design.

 Ideal Candidate Profile

• 12–18 years of experience in Industrial Digitalization, Industrial IoT (IIoT), OT/IT Architecture, Data Platforms, or Industrial Analytics.

• Strong hands-on experience with Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) or comparable industrial data platforms.

• Deep understanding of Energy & Utility operations, including Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, or Energy Transition sectors.

• Proven experience with SCADA, DCS, PLCs, Data Historians, Industrial IoT platforms, and Digital Twin technologies.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise integration architectures.

• Expertise in industrial communication standards, OT/IT convergence, data governance, cybersecurity, and Industry 4.0 frameworks.

• Experience developing enterprise-scale industrial data architectures and operational intelligence platforms.

• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and solution leadership capabilities.

• Cognite, Cloud Platform (Azure/AWS), Industrial IoT, Data Engineering, or Industry 4.0 certifications are preferred.
