Organisational Profile
Our client is a well-established national business with more than 35 years of experience in its field. Following continued growth and expansion across Australia, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Reconciliations & Accounts Officer to provide valuable support across the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounts professional who enjoys working in a busy, hands-on environment and has strong reconciliation experience. Based in Epping in Melbourne's Northern suburbs, the role offers the chance to join a successful organisation, commence immediately and make an impact from day one.

Position Description
The business is seeking a dynamic and motivated finance professional to join their team as soon as possible. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Completing a high volume of daily reconciliations
• Working proactively with internal & external stakeholders to resolve queries and outstanding items
• Investigating unreconciled and unmatched transactions to determine the cause of discrepancies
• Reviewing transactions across multiple methods of receiving customer payments and ensuring receipts are accurately matched and allocated
• Managing reconciliations involving international transactions and foreign currencies
• Assist with reporting
• Providing support across the broader finance function as required
• Performing other ad hoc finance and accounts duties as directed

Ideal Candidate
To be considered successful in the role, you will possess the following attributes:

• Prior experience in a similar role with proven prior reconciliations experience
• A keen eye for detail
• High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills and the drive to meet deadlines
• Previous experience using NetSuite is highly advantageous
