Mr Mills is an eclectic destination bar, located beneath Marmelo, capturing the playful and energetic spirit of Melbourne’s distinctive laneway nightlife. Beyond the DJ’s booth, sink into plush lounge seating for late night snacks, extensive cocktail menu and wine list, cool vibes and DJ grooves.

Marmelo and Mr Mills are located within Hyde Melbourne Place and co-operated by multi award-winning, restaurateurs – Ross & Sunny Lusted.

Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our exceptional team at Mr Mills, a refined, service-driven bar known for delivering memorable beverage and dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and inspire the bar team to deliver flawless, high-level service

• Lead and maintain a strong floor presence

• Bring creative thinking and a solutions driven approach to operations 

• Managing and coordinating events in the venue 

• Maintain excellent product knowledge across cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, at a premium venue

• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails, and bar techniques.

• Confident and engaging interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach

• Experience in running events is a bonus

• Current Victorian RSA Certificate

• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
