As a Bartender at Esprit Noir & Le Rivage, you will craft exceptional cocktails with precision and flair, combining creativity, technique, and genuine warmth to delight every guest.

Qualifications

About You

You are a passionate and skilled bartender who takes pride in the craft of mixology and delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences. With solid experience behind the bar, you are confident preparing classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages, with a strong understanding of flavour profiles, techniques and presentation.

You have a strong working knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar set-up, with the ability to consistently execute drinks to recipe and luxury standards. You are confident working at pace during busy services while maintaining accuracy, quality and attention to detail. Experience with flair bartending, cocktail creation and premium spirits will be highly regarded.

You understand that great bartending is about more than making a drink. You enjoy interacting with guests, reading the room and creating personalised experiences through genuine conversation, product knowledge and confident service. Your natural showmanship and enthusiasm bring energy to the bar while maintaining the polished, sophisticated approach expected of Sofitel.

You take pride in bar mise en place, stock control, opening and closing procedures, glassware presentation, cleanliness and maintaining an organised and well-presented bar throughout service. You are commercially aware, minimise wastage and understand the importance of responsible alcohol service.

Outgoing, composed and professional, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple orders while maintaining exceptional service standards. You are flexible and dependable, embracing a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

You hold a current RSA certificate, with full Australian working rights, allowing you to work with us without restriction.
