What you'll do

  • Co-ordination and tracking of inspection plans during the course of the project
  • Undertaking timely site progress inspections and reports for CCC applications
  • Coordination of all necessary legal boundary maps for submission to Land Registry and legal teams
  • Coordination and population of all relevant subcontractor Ancillary Certification in line with works on site
  • Collation of technical documents required for BER assessor for release of BER certification
  • Ensuring co-ordination & provision of all test certificates and confirmations to the satisfaction of all Certifiers for the purpose of Completion Certificate submission
  • Attend weekly Project Coordination meetings on site and provide BCAR Summary reports in line with site progress.
  • Attending subcontractor Pre-Award Meetings and identifying in conjunction with the BCAR Technical officer the documentation required for all technical packages provided by the subcontractor.
  • Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
  • Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

  • Full understanding of Building Control Regulations and Code of Practice

  • Full valid driving license is required

Role summary

The BCAR Coordinator/Engineer is responsible for the collation of all project documentation.

Key responsibilities and duties
