The Opportunity
We are seeking a Benefits HRIS Analyst to join our Firm. This position will be based in our New York office (hybrid).
Position Overview
This role will support the Senior Reporting and Configurations Analyst with the overall technical functionality of the Benefits Department applications and configurations, with major emphasis on Workday. Primary responsibilities will include report writing and associated quantitative analysis, data quality assurance and the development/analysis of statistics to transform data in consumable and actionable insights. This role will provide broad technical and project support to the Benefits Department. This role is hybrid and will be based in New York.
Responsibilities
- Ensures data privacy, security and integrity of data across applications used in the administration of Benefits.
- Provides technical support to the Workday Benefits function, focusing on implementations and administration of Benefits processes
- Provides technical support on Business Processes related to Benefits , such as upgrade testing and developing methods to automate and streamline processes.
- Participates in the design and development of audit reporting, to deliver recurring, ad hoc and self-service reports for all benefit related functions.
- Supports the analysis of large data sets to identify issues or trends and shares findings with management.
- Maintains and updates benefits related configurations in Workday.
- Serves as dedicated support for Workday implementation, including creating documentation and answering questions.
- Creates, calculates, processes and reconciles various insurance premium and headcount reports.
- Responsible for sending eligibility files, researching and responding to vendor discrepancy reports, and running and analyzing the associated audit reports.
- Assists with ad-hoc projects.
- Interacts with vendors on all Benefits Department applications and integrations.
- Collaborates with HRIS counterparts in other departments ensure best practices in existing Business Processes and develops methods to improve and streamline cross-functional processes.
- Tracks technical/functional issues and follows up with the Senior Reporting and Configurations Analyst on the status.
- Creates, edits and maintains appropriate documentation on systems and procedures.

Qualifications
- High proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficiency in Workday HCM, with specific focus on Workday Benefits functionality
- Proficiency with payroll as they relate to the Benefits function Knowledge of Firm operations, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of benefits administrative procedures and applicable laws
- Strong analytical aptitude
- Ability to leverage the Workday Resource Center for guidance and recommendations on new initiatives, functionality, trouble shooting, and reporting
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and make recommendations on appropriate solutions
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to take direction from senior team members
- Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs especially during the annual open enrollment season and system upgrades
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of Workday benefits HRIS experience required

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

$100,000 - $110,000EEO Statement
