Billing Coordinator I - Primoris Energy Services - Hubbard, Texas

Job Summary:**

The Billing Coordinator II is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing invoices and managing billing-related tasks for Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, Texas. This role ensures timely and correct billing to clients, maintains billing records, and supports the overall financial operations of the division.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients in accordance with contractual agreements and company policies.
* Verify project documentation, timesheets, expense reports, and other supporting information to ensure billing accuracy.
* Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client inquiries related to invoices.
* Maintain organized and accessible billing records, including contracts, purchase orders, and payment terms.
* Collaborate with project managers, operations, and accounting departments to gather necessary billing information and resolve issues.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing.
* Process and track change orders and additional work requests to ensure proper billing.
* Generate various billing reports and analyses as required by management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company procedures.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
* Provide training and support to junior billing staff as needed.

Job Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
* 2-4 years of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role, preferably within the energy services or construction industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
* Experience with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint) is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
* Understanding of basic accounting principles.
