As an Analyst on the Macro Space Analytics (MSA) team, you will support strategic space allocation and optimization decisions for new stores, remodels, reflows, and fixture projects. You will serve as the subject matter expert on MSA data and reporting — maintaining and evolving dashboard reporting as new data pipelines come online — while providing category space guidance and optimization recommendations to partner teams. This role requires you to navigate incomplete data sets, collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Store Design, Tech, Data Science, Finance), and translate complex analyses into clear, actionable space allocation recommendations. The ideal candidate is a self-directed, creative thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can tell a compelling story with data.

Skills
● Experience analyzing and visualizing data to deliver actionable, persuasive recommendations that drive business decisions.
● Ability to tell clear, concise stories with complex data across varied audiences.
● Creative problem-solving skills with the maturity to handle ambiguity and flexibility to perform in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
● Experience identifying data needs and articulating requirements to data engineers.
● Proficient in Excel; intermediate familiarity with SQL, Python, Tableau/Dashboard Tooling, and/or Alteryx.
● Strong communication skills — listening, verbal, and written — with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
