Business Development Manager

Key Role Objective

Lead and scale Chubb’s multi-market HNW business model and pilot programme, while serving as a player-coach for the segment. In addition to setting strategy and enabling the team, the role has direct responsibility for originating, pursuing, and closing HNW business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

1) Lead multi-market HNW business model, proposition and pilot execution

• Lead the design, execution and scaling of Chubb’s multi-market HNW business model and pilot programme.
• Define target client strategy, referral pathways, operating model, commercial framework, governance and success metrics.
• Provide market and client insights to shape Chubb’s HNW and multi-market propositions, with a focus on the needs of internationally mobile HNW clients.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the integration of Life, Wealth and relevant P&C solutions, and recommend enhancements to product, service, distribution and client experience.
• Translate pilot outcomes into scalable, repeatable business models for broader rollout.

2) Coach and enable business development teams and distribution channels to drive sales performance

• Coach, support and enable the business development team to identify, pursue and convert HNW opportunities.
• Provide strategic direction, market insight and hands-on deal support to drive sales of insurance, wealth and related solutions.
• Build team capability in multi-market business development and HNW client engagement.

3) Direct business origination and revenue delivery

• Drive direct business development for the target segment by originating and converting HNW opportunities.
• Build and manage relationships with clients, referral sources and strategic partners to generate pipeline and revenue.
• Lead selected client engagements and directly sell financial solutions including insurance, wealth and related offerings, particularly for strategic or complex opportunities.
• Deliver individual commercial outcomes in addition to broader leadership responsibilities.

4) Drive cross-market growth and stakeholder alignment

• Identify and advance multi-market growth opportunities across Life, Wealth and relevant P&C segments.
• Align stakeholders across markets and functions to execute effectively within regulatory and governance requirements.
• Support senior management in advancing multi-market strategic priorities.
