What you'll do

  • Act as the main point of client contact for the campaign management process, from campaign confirmation through conclusion
  • Facilitate professional client meetings including calls, project updates, and review sessions, balancing urgency with reassurance
  • Manage day-to-day campaign activities, including coordinating photography/videography and article production requests, creative delivery, and client/internal communications
  • Devise achievable, comprehensive workback schedules for booked campaigns and hold internal teams to them
  • Maintain a full understanding of campaign goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets, and make the calls needed to keep them on track

  • Provide post-campaign analysis, including final reports and recommendations for future campaigns, with support from the Campaign Strategist
  • Communicate with internal stakeholder groups throughout each campaign phase on resourcing, scope, and status
  • Be a product expert across the CMG portfolio of sites and social accounts
  • Work closely with sales reps toward client retention and growth
  • Step into problem-solving on escalated accounts, including joining client meetings and developing action plans to resolve issues
  • Act as a go-to resource for other Campaign Managers working through complex campaign challenges

  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing digital and branded content campaigns in a digital publisher, agency, or media environment
  • Proven track record managing multiple complex, multi-product campaigns simultaneously, from confirmation through post-campaign reporting
  • Strong understanding of branded and sponsored content, social media platforms, paid and organic traffic, and digital analytics (Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Comscore, social insights)
  • Understanding of digital production and performance marketing
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the confidence to manage senior stakeholders through complex or sensitive conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to build and hold teams to workback schedules, and to manage campaigns to budget and deadline
  • Comfortable acting as an informal resource or mentor for less experienced Campaign Managers, without formal management responsibility
  • Experience with project management tools such as Notion, Jira, or similar
  • Effective time management, multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to stay composed under pressure
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Calgary or Vancouver

  • Experience with CRM or OMS platforms and Google Ad Manager considered an asset

About the Role

The Campaign Manager is the operational backbone of a branded campaign at CMG Labs, owning it end-to-end from contract confirmation through post-campaign reporting. This role suits someone with a strong track record managing complex, multi-market digital and branded content campaigns, ready to take on direct ownership, dynamic client requirements, and a broader view of how campaigns are resourced and measured across CMG Labs. You’ll work closely with the Campaign Management Team Lead and CMG Labs leadership to keep campaigns on time, on budget, and on strategy.


What You’ll Do
