What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart (echocardiography) blood vessels (vascular ultrasound) to evaluate cardiac/ vascular conditions.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address their concerns. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, identifying and documenting any abnormalities or areas of concern.
- Maintain a high standard of image quality and accuracy, following established protocols and quality control measures.
- Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and findings in electronic medical records (EMR) or paper records as required.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and relevant medical guidelines through ongoing education and training.
- Educate patients on the purpose of the ultrasound procedure, answer questions, and provide relevant information.
- Adhere to safety regulations and infection control procedures to ensure the safety of patients and colleagues.
- This role regularly rotates between our Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City clinics based on business needs; reliable transportation and flexibility across these locations is required.

Job Summary:
The Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to obtain images and data for the evaluation and treatment of patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions. This role combines technical proficiency with patient care skills to ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic studies. Responsibilities:
