What you'll do

  • Responsible for taking vehicle level measurements and analysis of drivability topics i.e Idle stability, Cold Start, Restart and Hot Start, Vehicle acceleration performance.
  • Need to participate in vehicle test trips and resolve the concerns raised by validation team;
  • Need to participate during homologation trials and prepare relevant documents.
  • Need to participate take On Board Diagnostics related measurements and perform analysis to avoid wrong detection of plausibility errors.
  • Need to work with CFT team to understand the calibration maturity of other linked calibration areas
  • Need to coordinate multiple vehicle / project activities simultaneously.
  • Need to support for testing activities at engine manufacturing plant and vehicle manufacturing plant prior to product launch.
  • Need to have strong leadership skills with the ability to independently manage activities and ensure timely outcomes.
  • Exceptional problem ‑ solving abilities and a structured approach to issue management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and foster a positive team culture.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.

Required Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  •  Proficient with data acquisition & development tools (e.g. INCA/MATLAB/Uniplot/VISU/ Python / RM tools/ CANalyzer/CANOE etc.)
  • In depth knowledge on Engine management system functions, Gasoline engine combustion,  emissions and emission regulations.
  • Emission and OBD system knowledge will be added benefit
  • Understanding of various vehicle level features and up to date trends in automobile industry.
