Church360 Student Ministry Associate - Outreach

Role-at-a-Glance: The Student Ministry Outreach Associate leads efforts to reach students in the community by building strategic relationships, creating outreach opportunities, and helping students take meaningful next steps into discipleship and connection with Students360. 

 

Position Summary: The Student Ministry Outreach Associate is responsible for developing and leading the outreach strategy for student ministry, creating intentional pathways to connect students, 7th - 12th grade, to Jesus, community, and life of Church360. This role involves building relationships with local student school groups, students, and parents; planning outreach events and initiatives; and supporting the overall mission of Students360 by helping new students move from first time connection to ongoing discipleship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• Lead the outreach strategy for Students360, with a focus on reaching new students, grades 7th - 12th grade from the communities we serve.    
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with local school student groups, administrators, coaches, and club sponsors. 
• Create pathways for students and families to move from outreach events into weekly services, groups, and discipleship environments.  
• Develop and execute student outreach events, campus engagement opportunities, and connection strategies that align with the mission and vision of Students360. 
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with students, providing pastoral presence, encouragement, and spiritual support.  
• Collaborate with the student ministry team and the Young Adults Pastor to ensure outreach efforts support the broader discipleship strategy of the Next Gen. department 
• Help identify, recruit, train, and lead volunteers who can support outreach efforts and build relationships with students and families.  
• Lead in the creation and implementation of follow-up systems for new students and families, ensuring timely and intentional communication and connection.  
• Partner with parents to support student engagement and provide clear next steps into the life of the ministry.  
• Provide teaching, hosting, and platform support for student ministry environments as assigned. 
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, including health, safety, and security protocols.  
• Provide regular updates and feedback to the Next Gen. Pastor regarding outreach effectiveness, growth opportunities, and community engagement.  

 

Qualifications: 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.  
• Ability to recruit, develop, and motive a team.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.  
• Flexible, receptive to direction and efficient at managing multiple projects.  
• Self-motivated and detailed oriented.  

Education and Experience: 

• Preferably a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Theology, Ministry, or a related field, or two or more years related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• 3-5+ years of relevant leadership or ministry experience preferred.  
• Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and ability to lead others spiritually.  

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. 
• Proficiency in typing and using office equipment (e.g. printers, scanners, etc.) 
• Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds. 
• Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed.
