Full description from employer

Our Loveland, CO office is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer in Training to support our Roadway group. The ideal candidate will have roadway experience. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys working in a team environment. We are seeking a self-starter with close attention to detail who wants to work in a professional setting advancing their career in civil design. You will also collaborate with other disciplines, project managers, support staff, and clients to ensure successful task completion.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic design of Roadway.
  • Support production of construction plans and documents.
  • Complete quantity take-offs and cost estimating.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, both internal and external.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong work ethic and an understanding of engineering principles.
  • Experience in CADD utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
  • Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to peers, senior staff, and clients.

 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum from an ABET-accredited school.
  • Engineering Intern Certification.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in civil design.
  • Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.

Hourly Earnings: $36.00 - $45.00 (Depending on Experience)
