Job Description:

  • SHIFT: 40-hour, 3 shifts a week position with a mandatory bimonthly meeting

  • The clinical donation associate responds on site to organ donation referrals within our service area (Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia counties).

  • Responds promptly to all donor referrals and performs initial suitability screening.
  • Rounds on all referrals and manages relationships with ICU physicians and nurses.
  • Assists the Organ Procurement Coordinator and team leader with referral-related activities.
  • Coordinates donation huddles to communicate donation action plans. Evaluates patients for organ and tissue donation suitability.
