Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a Clinical Infection Preventionist to join our team.
In this role you are responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of site-specific infection prevention and control initiatives, and for the support of surveillance activities at the division and system level. Responsible for ensuring state, federal (i.e. Centers for Disease Control), regulatory and accreditation standards are met to include required communicable disease reporting. Position Available
Full-Time; 40 hours per week

Education
Bachelor's degree. (Preferred from an accredited university or college with emphasis in nursing, clinical quality improvement, microbiology, epidemiology or related field)
