Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500-recognised South Wales law firm with a strong reputation across the region.

Joining an established and successful team, you will work on a broad range of commercial property matters, acting for businesses, developers, investors and landowners. This is a senior-level opportunity offering high levels of autonomy, exposure to quality work, and the chance to play an active role in the continued growth and success of the department.

The Role

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction to completion
• Handling acquisitions, disposals and general sale and purchase transactions
• Investigating title and carrying out property due diligence
• Drafting and negotiating legal documents and transaction-related agreements
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other third parties
• Reporting to clients on transaction progress and providing clear commercial advice
• Supervising and supporting support staff where appropriate
• Assisting with business development, networking and promoting the firm’s services

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ experience within Commercial Property
• Strong experience managing sale and purchase transactions independently
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience supervising support staff would be advantageous
