  • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage commissioning schedules, resources and project priorities.
  • Review design documentation and identify commissioning risks.
  • Oversee QA/QC inspections, defect management and punch list close-out.
  • Prepare commissioning documentation, reports and final handover packages.
  • Support troubleshooting and technical issue resolution during commissioning.
  • Mentor commissioning engineers and promote continuous improvement.
  • Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations
  • Actively promote safety in the workplace

Position Summary/Objectives of Incumbent:


The Commissioning engineer will work as a part of the Project Management team in Australia/New Zealand and be responsible for the commissioning of mission critical electrical and mechanical equipment, safe electrical practices, facility turnover, and issue resolution. 

Position Purpose

The Commissioning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading all commissioning activities for mission-critical infrastructure projects. The role ensures electrical, mechanical and control systems are tested, validated and handed over safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop commissioning strategies, procedures and integrated test plans.
