About this role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a full-time employment opportunity for a mid-level litigation associate with 5-7 years of experience to join our Complex Business Litigation practice in our Boston office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. GT is consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100. The associate will have the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile disputes for sophisticated clients alongside leading trial lawyers in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling sophisticated commercial disputes. A background at a top law firm with a nationally recognized litigation practice is strongly preferred. Prior judicial clerkship experience is also preferred, particularly in federal district or appellate courts. The role requires exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills, along with demonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions, discovery motions, briefs, and other substantive filings. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding academic credentials, sound judgment, strong project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in leanly staffed, fast-paced litigation teams while managing significant responsibility and client contact.

Candidates must have experience in the following:

  • Handling matters involving breach of contract, bankruptcy, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, securities, regulatory investigations, or other high-stakes business litigation in state and federal courts

  • Managing all phases of complex litigation, including factual development, motion practice, written discovery, depositions, expert discovery, and trial preparation.

  • Coordinating large-scale document discovery and working with eDiscovery issues

Candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar. The position requires residence in the Boston office. To apply, submit your resume, cover letter, recent writing sample, and law school transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).

Submissions from search firms will only be accepted through our web portal for third-party submissions; for access, contact Audrey Ryan.

The expected pay range for this position is:

$310,000 to $420,000

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.  Additional voluntary programs include:  voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance.  Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.

GT is an EEO employer with an inclusive workplace committed to merit-based consideration and review without regard to an individual’s race, sex, or other protected characteristics and to the principles of non-discrimination on any protected basis.
