What you'll do
- Evaluate, process, and manage applications and records for licensees and applicants in accordance with the laws, rules and regulations in accordance with the rules and regulations.
- Serve as backup to receive, log, and investigate complaints related to licensing and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and process renewal applications in accordance with the laws and rules in accordance with established timeframes.
- Prepare correspondence informing applicants of deficiencies and licensing decisions.
- Interpret and apply laws regarding licensure eligibility that allows for administrative issuance of licenses.
- Conduct initial review of applications within 10 working days of receipt.
- Provides technical assistance to customers and staff.
- Conduct research to compile information needed to generate reports, complete projects, and accurately respond to questions and concerns.
- Advise licensees, stakeholders and groups regarding licensing, laws, rules, regulations, rule amendments and policies/procedures.
- Use independent judgment and knowledge of the law as it pertains to processing license requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Under general supervision, the Compliance Business Analyst reviews for compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations in determining eligibility for licensure and inquiries of non-compliance (complaints). This position is responsible for processing manufacturers, installer and retailer broker applications and renewal types.
