What you'll do
- Smooth, level, and finish freshly poured concrete floors, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and other flatwork.
- Masterfully use hand and power tools including trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers to achieve specified textures and finishes.
- Apply finishing techniques such as broom finishes or stamped patterns as required by project plans.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and setting forms or molds; collaborate with the team on proper mixing and pouring.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets exact measurements and safety standards; patch and repair damaged surfaces as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols (PPE) and communicate effectively with the crew to meet tight project timelines.
