This position may be filled out of our Denver office.

Description:

We are seeking a Conflicts Attorney within the conflicts clearing team. With the appropriate oversight from the firm’s Professional Standards Partner, the Conflicts Attorney will assist with managing the conflict resolution process related to new business intake, while protecting the firm and its clients from adversity and risk. Periodic in-person presence is required for annual or bi-annual weekend team building events. Attendance at in-person quarterly meetings may also be required, depending on a person's location. This position can be based within a reasonable commuting distance of any of our U.S. offices. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Strong research, computer, and database skills.
  • Knowledge of conflicts of interest principles under the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and U.S. bar admission, preferably in a jurisdiction where the firm has an office.

Minimum Education:

  • 5+ years legal experience, preferably with a large law firm in the area of conflicts of interest or professional responsibility.


The base salary range for this position is $131,000.00 - $197,000.00 per year. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, Holland & Knight provides bonus opportunities and an exceptional benefits package.
