UiPath RPA Developer / Automation Engineer (ServiceNow Automation)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled UiPath Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions for ServiceNow-based business processes. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in UiPath development, ServiceNow workflows, ITSM processes(added advantage), and automation best practices. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, testers, and process owners to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using UiPath.
• Automate ServiceNow business processes including:
• Incident Management
• Request Management
• Change Management
• Problem Management
• Knowledge Management
• Asset and Configuration Management
• Integrate UiPath robots with ServiceNow applications, APIs, and workflows.
• Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Develop unattended and attended automation solutions.
• Create reusable automation components and frameworks.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing bots.
• Participate in automation design reviews and code reviews.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators, developers, and business users.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, process definition documents (PDDs), and solution design documents (SDDs).
• Support production deployments and automation monitoring.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure automation stability and reliability.

Required Skills
UiPath

• Strong experience in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robots.
• Experience with REFramework.
• Knowledge of attended and unattended automations.
• Experience in exception handling and logging mechanisms.
• Experience in API integrations and workflow automation.

ServiceNow

• Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture.
• Experience automating ServiceNow:
• Incident creation and updates
• Service Catalog requests
• Change workflows
• Approvals and task management
• CMDB-related processes
• Familiarity with ServiceNow forms, lists, workspaces, and portals.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow REST and SOAP APIs.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON/XML.
• Experience with SQL and database operations.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or .NET is a plus.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• UiPath Certified Professional (Associate/Advanced Professional).
• ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification preferred.
