Job Summary:**
The Coordinator I Payroll will assist with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Primoris Services Corporation, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This entry-level position supports the payroll department in various administrative and processing tasks.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Assist with the collection, verification, and entry of timekeeping data from various sources.
* Support the processing of weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payrolls, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations.
* Verify employee information, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
* Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping.
* Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
* Assist with the generation of various payroll reports as needed.
* Support the payroll team in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager or senior staff.
Job Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
* 0-2 years of experience in a payroll or administrative support role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Basic understanding of payroll principles and regulations is a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
