Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of cost management systems, processes and reporting tools.

  • Monitor and analyse programme cost performance, including Earned Value Management (EVM).

  • Support project teams with cost forecasting, EAC, ETC and actual cost reporting.

  • Track costs against approved budgets and cost breakdown structures.

  • Support cost re-baselining, budget updates and forecasting activities.

  • Analyse change requests and ensure cost data is accurately coded and aligned to budgets.

  • Work collaboratively with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure accurate accruals and contract cost reporting.

  • Provide user support and guidance on cost management systems and tools.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Experience in cost management within major programmes or large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, cost analysis and Earned Value Management.

  • Experience using cost management systems such as PRISM, EcoSys or Cobra.

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts and construction delivery.

  • Experience within engineering, infrastructure, energy or nuclear environments.

  • Membership of a relevant professional body.

  • This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a nationally significant project while developing your career within a leading Project Controls team.
