CURRICULUM INTERN – FINANCIAL LITERACY

In India, 100 million children from low-income communities grow up without access to the 21st-century skills they need to thrive — from emotional intelligence and digital literacy to everyday money management. This gap leads to a lifetime of limited opportunity, intergenerational poverty, and rising mental health concerns.
What Are We Doing?
At The Apprentice Project (TAP), we're building India's boldest bet on education equity — an AI-powered learning buddy that helps thousands of government school students unlock 21st-century skills. We don't just teach coding or financial literacy — we spark self-confidence, creativity, and lifelong curiosity in children who've been told to "stay in their lane."
We're not looking for employees. We're looking for co-builders — people who want to create generational change, one student at a time.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who understands that financial literacy is one of the most practical and undervalued skills a child can develop — and who wants to help make it genuinely accessible and engaging. You have a basic grasp of everyday financial concepts and the ability to explain them simply. You're comfortable with research, attentive to detail, and willing to support both the creative and the operational sides of curriculum work — from developing activities to updating trackers to organising content. About The Role
Engagement: Intern
Time Commitment: 20–30 hours per week
Reports to: Financial Literacy Team Lead
What You'll Do
- Support development of Financial Literacy activities, worksheets, projects, and learning resources.
- Assist in creating instructional and content videos for curriculum delivery.
- Support research and contextualisation of financial concepts for students.
- Assist with examples, scenarios, and activities connected to students' real-life financial experiences.
- Update curriculum trackers, sheets, and documentation.
- Create and manage content links and organise resources on Google Drive and relevant platforms.
- Support basic video recording, editing, formatting, and quality checks.
- Identify missing information, content gaps, or errors and flag them to the Team Lead.
- Support other routine curriculum and coordination tasks.
Who You Are
- Basic knowledge of Financial Literacy and everyday financial concepts — money management, saving, budgeting, banking, and financial decision-making.
- Ability to understand and explain basic financial concepts clearly.
- Interest in education and creating student-friendly learning content.
- Basic video and content creation skills are an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Comfortable with Google Sheets, Google Drive, and digital tools.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
