Data Analyst I

Job Description:

AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. (“AEGIS”) has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst I to work closely with the analytics team and business users to understand system requirements and assist in developing data solutions with our current data and analytics tools. The Data Analyst I will monitor new requests and assist in the triage and oversight of the data lifecycle. The Data Analyst I will work on designing and developing enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions and also work to test these solutions.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience that effectively demonstrates the following skills and abilities:

- Ability to liaise with source system teams to understand data lineage, resolve data origination issues, weed out and correct process and/or operational issues as well as partner on data initiatives for new source system enhancements.  

- Ability to express and organize thoughts, ideas and information in a logical and concise manner both in writing and verbally.

- Interpersonal skills that build and maintain professional relationships with customers and counterparts

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or other data related field.

  • Knowledge of relational database & star schema model designs and concepts.

We expect to pay a starting salary between $80,000 and $100,000. An applicant’s placement within this range is based on their individual qualifications and professional experience.
