Data Channel Manager (DataBricks, Snowflake, API)

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Oversee and support the ongoing operation of data delivery channels, including API, SFTP, Snowflake, AWS S3 and Databricks, ensuring reliable data delivery.

• Manage client onboarding, training and ongoing support across data delivery channels, working with internal teams to address client needs and resolve service issues.

• Coordinate the Snowflake migration project including scope definition, dependency and timeline management, and release planning.

• Support the Snowflake migration from a business and data perspective, including source integration, schema design, data transformation and validation, and parallel testing.

• Provide post-migration support for the Snowflake service, including service monitoring, quality assurance, issue resolution and ongoing client needs.

• Coordinate the API data delivery workstream for the migration to the company’s new data delivery platform, defining business requirements and working with vendors to deliver agreed capabilities on schedule.

• Support the implementation and rollout of the new API delivery channel, including internal and client beta testing, entitlement transition, client communications and training, and post-launch support.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, & 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in managing data delivery channels such as DataBricks, Snowflake, SFTP, S3 buckets, and API.

• Strong understanding of data flow design, system integration and delivery processes.

• Excellent project management skills with experience in collaborating with product owners, technical teams and external vendors.

• Ability to work in a global team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing and managing new data channels and workstreams.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms and data integration tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.

• Working knowledge of SQL and a scripting language such as Python for data analysis, validation and troubleshooting.
