Your key responsibilities

• Act as the local Trade Finance Advisory & Services lead in the Philippines, supporting client advisory, business development, transaction execution and service delivery for Trade Finance & Lending clients.
• Serve as the primary Trade Finance Advisory & Services contact in the Philippines, supporting local clients and key stakeholders.
• Drive Trade Finance client engagement and business development activities in partnership with Coverage and Singapore-based Trade Finance Sales teams.
• Partner with Singapore-based Trade Finance Sales teams to identify, originate and execute trade finance opportunities.
• Provide advisory support on Trade Finance & Lending solutions, including LCs, Guarantees, Supply Chain Finance and Working Capital solutions.
• Support client relationship management, account planning and business development initiatives for Trade Finance.
• Coordinate with Product, Credit, Operations, Compliance, Legal and KYC teams to facilitate transaction execution and client onboarding.
• Act as the escalation point for trade finance service-related matters and support timely issue resolution.
• Prepare pipeline, business and management reports for Country Management and regional Trade Finance teams.
• Build strong relationships with Coverage, Product and Country Management teams to support business growth.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management standards

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related courses
• Proven years of experience in banking, preferably in Trade Finance Advisory, Trade Sales, Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, or a related client-facing role within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of Trade Finance and Lending products, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Trade Loans, Receivables Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Structured Trade Solutions, and Working Capital products.
• Proven ability to engage clients, identify business opportunities, and develop trade finance solutions aligned to client needs and risk parameters.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, client relationship management, deal structuring, and transaction execution.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify revenue opportunities, improve wallet share, and drive utilization of trade finance products and digital channels.
• Ability to work closely with Relationship Managers, Product Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and other stakeholders to deliver solutions and execute transactions.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, senior stakeholders, and decision-makers.
• Solution-oriented with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage transactions from opportunity identification through structuring, approval, execution, and post-implementation support
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
• Strong English language capabilities. Proficiency in local language will be an advantage
