You'll partner with clients across diverse sectors, including financial services, health, retail, and energy / mining entities, to design, implement, and uplift security controls, frameworks, and governance that reduce risk, protect data, and drive secure, sustainable growth.

What you’ll do: 

• Deliver cybersecurity and privacy engagements across a range of clients and industries, taking ownership of workstreams and producing high-quality deliverables that meet client needs. 

• Conduct security assessments, gap analyses, and maturity reviews against recognised frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST CSF, Essential Eight, AESCSF, FAIR, CPS 234, CPS 230). 

• Advise clients on cyber risk, governance, privacy, and regulatory obligations, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and executive stakeholders. 

• Support the design, implementation, and uplift of security controls, policies, and frameworks that strengthen client resilience and reduce risk. 

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and identifying opportunities to add further value & contribute to business development activities, including proposals, thought leadership, and client presentations. 

• Coach, guide, and review the work of junior team members, contributing to their development and to a collaborative, high-performing team culture. 

• Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats, technologies, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to continuously improve client outcomes. 

What we’re looking for: 

• Demonstrated experience delivering cybersecurity and/or privacy engagements, ideally within a consulting, advisory, or client-facing environment. 

• Practical experience applying and leveraging recognised security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Essential Eight) to assess, uplift, and strengthen client security postures. 

• Strong knowledge across cyber risk, governance, and compliance, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and executive audiences. 

• Experience producing high-quality deliverables and managing workstreams to time, budget, and quality expectations. 

• Experience coaching, mentoring, or guiding junior team members, with a genuine interest in developing others and contributing to a positive team culture. 

• Relevant industry certifications (or working towards) such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or similar are highly regarded.
