About this role

As Director of Corporate Communications, you will shape and safeguard our global narrative. You will lead executive communications, drive press relations, and handle high-stakes issues with precision. Partnering closely with senior leaders, you will deliver impactful messaging while caring for our enterprise trust and reputation.


Reporting to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Define the global corporate narrative, message house, and external reputation priorities for the business.

  • Lead executive communications and strategic thought leadership support for senior leaders during major announcements.

  • Oversee corporate media relations, press office protocols, and external corporate statements within established governance.

  • Drive crisis and issue communications preparedness, coordinating strategic responses when reputational risk arises.

  • Collaborate across brand and market teams to align media handling whenever issues touch the brand.

  • Evaluate media coverage and sentiment regularly to optimise communications plans and manage risk.
     

What will you bring to the team?

  • Experience managing corporate communications, public relations, and reputation in complex environments.

  • Capability in handling sensitive, high-pressure media relations and crises.

  • Track record of supporting executive positioning and thought leadership for senior leaders.

  • Sound judgment regarding risk escalation, incident management, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Writing skills with an ability to simplify complex corporate topics for external audiences.

  • Ability to stay calm, decisive, and precise during incidents and rapid change.
