The Director of Operations at Levi & Korsinsky LLP is pivotal in streamlining our operations, freeing leadership to focus on strategic growth and innovation. This role is designed to strengthen accountability around key initiatives, ensuring projects and processes are executed efficiently and effectively. As a vital connector in our distributed environment, the Director will oversee cross-functional initiatives, monitoring progress and implementing improvements to drive operational efficiency and consistent execution.

 

What you’ll do:

• Operational Oversight: Examine existing operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements for greater productivity.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage initiatives involving multiple departments, ensuring clear ownership, priorities, and timelines.
• Project Oversight: Oversee major projects to ensure they have clear plans, responsible parties, milestones, and deadlines, and remain on track through completion.
• Process Implementation: Develop and establish processes from concept through completion, ensuring they are followed and producing the intended results.
• Accountability and Follow-Through: Establish accountability around deadlines and deliverables, proactively follow up on commitments, identify delays or blockers, and keep initiatives moving forward. 
• Reporting and Visibility: Create rigorous reporting practices, providing leadership with clear visibility into project status, progress, and results. 
• IT and Technology Oversight: Provide operational oversight for IT and technology initiatives, ensuring priorities, timelines, and accountability remain on track.

What we’re looking for:         

• Operational Leadership: Proven experience leading operations and driving cross-functional initiatives, ideally within a remote or distributed environment.
• Process Improvement Skills: Strong background in designing and implementing efficient processes and accountability frameworks.
• Ownership and Initiative: Highly proactive and self-directed, with the ability to independently drive follow-through, manage competing priorities, and escalate issues when leadership involvement is necessary. 
• High Emotional Intelligence: Ability to build trust, gain buy-in, and hold others accountable without creating unnecessary resistance.
• Engaging Communication: Optimistic, energetic, and persuasive communicator who can build genuine relationships and effectively navigate strong personalities. 
• Remote Work Experience: Demonstrated success driving initiatives and building relationships in a virtual environment, with the ability to consistently work Eastern or Central Time Zone hours.
• Technological Acumen: Comfortable leveraging technology, AI, and automation to improve operations and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
• Professional Services Experience: Background in law firm or professional services operations is a plus.
