About the Role

The Director of Product will be responsible for the AI and Innovation Roadmap for Litify ELM (Enterprise Legal Management). Litify ELM powers the core workflows–vendor selection, co-counsel collaboration, matter management and financial management–of Fortune 500’s top corporate legal departments.

This role reports to our Chief Product Officer, and will lead high-visibility, high-impact innovation and AI initiatives for the company in our fastest growing product suite. This role will focus on everything outside of ELM Financial Management, which falls under a separate Director of Product that this role will closely collaborate with. This is a growth-focused role for a proactive, resourceful, dogged visionary of a product leader. You will take a nascent product space and drive its strategy, building out the industry-leading AI-native platform for corporate legal departments.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Drive AI Product Vision & Growth: Establish and evolve our long-term vision for ELM Practice Management and a full suite of AI solutions for Corporate Legal Departments.
  • Execute Core Practice Management and AI Projects: Build and scale critical product experiences, including Legal Service Requests (LSRs), RFP & Vendor Selection Tools, Vendor & Co-Counsel Collaboration and Matter Management tailored to the corporate legal function.
  • Ingrain Yourself with Clients as an AI thought partner: Build relationships with Litify’s flagship corporate legal clients to understand their unique pain points, workflow opportunities, and unmet needs.
  • Deeply Partner Cross-Functionally: Work hand-in-hand with Engineering daily to deliver on the roadmap, while also partnering heavily with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to align GTM strategies.
  • Facilitate the Product Development Process: Partner closely with the ELM engineering team and UX designer to keep development cycles progressing smoothly..
  • Leverage Cutting-Edge Tooling: Actively use AI tools to streamline your product development lifecycle, refine tickets and draft requirements efficiently.
  • Engage at the Executive Level: Gain buy-in and support from leadership for the AI and Innovation roadmap and keep cross-functional teams updated on your progress.

To be successful, you have/are:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of working experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment. Experience in legal tech, enterprise legal management (ELM), or corporate legal departments is a major plus.
  • A Proactive Growth Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes extreme ownership, and is willing to put in the hard work and energy required to scale a nascent product area.
  • Exceptional Client-Facing Skills: The ability to easily build rapport with enterprise clients, ask deep discovery questions, and synthesize complex client feedback into structured, actionable features.
  • Technical & Product Tooling Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Jira, Claude and Claude Code are a major plus.
  • Executive-Level Communication: Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Deep analytical skills and a passion for thoroughly thinking through edge cases, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are watertight.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
