Job Description

Passionate about road safety and serving the community?  

Join us as a contracted Driving Instructor - Start with learner lessons and deliver the NSW Safer Drivers Course and if qualified, use your skills to facilitate senior assessments and corporate training. 

What You'll Bring

NRMA is committed to ensuring a safe and positive customer experience.

To deliver these services to our customers, we are looking for contractors with the following:
 
Essential licenses and Tools of Trade: 

  • Valid Registered ACN
  • Own dual control vehicle (white colour, < 5 yrs old and have a 5 star ANCAP rating)
  • Current Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics and valid NSW Driving Instructor License 
  • Current and valid TfNSW Safer Drivers Course (min module 2)
  • Valid NSW C class Driver’s License  
  • Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) 

 
Essential skills: 

  • Passion and dedication to help our learner drivers of today become safe and independent drivers  
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to exude empathy and patience in all interactions  
  • The ability to drive NRMA products and positive reviews through a need based selling approach   
  • Excellent communication with the ability to effectively engage with a broad spectrum of individuals spanning from differing demographics to levels of driving confidence 
  • Exceptional understanding and adherence to NSW road rules and regulations   
  • Effective diary management and a strong work ethic, able to tightly manage time and optimise schedule to service customers  
  • Ability to confidently adapt to various customer learning styles, needs and preferences  
  • A team player with a strong work ethic who is flexible and willing to adapt and grow with business demand and requirements  

Please note: an offer for this role will be subject to a successful In-car assessment and pre-employment checks. A copy of qualifications and licenses, a valid WWCC and Driving History check will be requested.
