Through this initiative, the company is driving market entry and growth for these brands in India—across both online and offline channels—ensuring wider consumer reach and long-term brand success.
Role Overview
The Ecommerce Specialist owns the end-to-end operational setup and execution for new brands and ASINs on marketplace platforms, with a primary focus on Amazon India. The incumbent will be responsible for taking closed brands from the master order handover through Seller account creation, listing, compliance, cataloging, and fulfilment—ensuring every new brand goes live accurately, compliantly, and on time across both Seller Central (S3P) or Vendor Central (P3P)
This is a hands-on execution role requiring strong process discipline, coordination, and attention to detail, working closely with Brands, Compliance, Finance, Warehouse, and Amazon teams to run operations without gaps or escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account & Listing Setup
- Seller / Vendor Central creation — create accounts and complete business details, GST, and bank details, and verify the account.
- Download the listing file from the Amazon portal and share with the brand for product details.
- Complete ASIN listing — upload the listing file received from the brand and create / map ASINs.
- Run the GL check — verify GL code on Seller / Selection Central and get GL mapping corrected from the Amazon category team where needed.
2. Compliance & Labeling
- Prepare and send the MRP file with product details to the brand.
- Obtain the KLD file from the brand.
- Send the MRP file and KLD to the Compliance team for the MRP sticker format.
- Set the MRP value (MOP × 2).
- Coordinate MRP stickers — receive from Compliance and send to the brand.
- Manage PWMR stickers — check polybag thickness and material, and send the relevant PWMR stickers to the brand.
3. Cataloging & Systems Setup
- Complete Odoo mapping — map SKUs / products in Odoo and verify inventory sync.
- AMS setup — set up AMS accounts and provide access to the relevant teams.
4. Order Fulfilment & Inventory
- P3P PO release (if applicable) — verify and get the PO released by P3P seller.
- PO fulfilment — coordinate with the SCM team to accept POs and fulfil orders (pick, pack, label, invoice, dispatch).
- Inventory verification — coordinate with SCM & Warehouse team to ensure zero inventory in the Manesar warehouse after dispatches
5. Ongoing Operations & Account Health
- Maintain product listings across marketplaces — pricing, descriptions, images, and inventory accuracy.
- Handle Amazon 3P FBA operations (non-retail) — shipment creation, dispatches, goods receipt, inventory reconciliation, and returns.
- Oversee order processing, fulfilment, and returns, ensuring SLA adherence.
- Maintain marketplace seller accounts and ensure compliance with platform policies and account health.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, customer support, finance, and Amazon account managers to resolve operational issues.
6. Tracking, Reporting & Escalations
- Track and analyze operational and catalog metrics — SLAs, receiving performance, shortages, returns, and inventory sufficiency.
- Monitor catalog hygiene — % A+ content coverage and ASINs with ratings above 4.
- Analyze sales data and operational KPIs to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Handle basic escalations and operational issues, escalating complex matters when required.
Skills & Competencies
- 2-4 years of experience in Amazon FBA operations, e-commerce marketplace operations, or D2C — preferably with Seller Central (3P) exposure.
- Good understanding of the Amazon / e-commerce ecosystem.
- Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and marketplace reports.
- Good coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills across Brands, Compliance, Finance, Warehouse, and Amazon teams.
- Good communication skills.
- High process orientation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple brands and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
