About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and analytical intern to join our Data Centre Development Advisory team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the development and acquisition of data centre projects across various stages of the project lifecycle.

Working alongside experienced engineers and consultants, you will support the evaluation of new data centre opportunities, assess site feasibility, and contribute to capacity planning and development analysis for both greenfield developments and existing asset acquisitions. This role provides valuable insight into one of the fastest-growing sectors within real estate and infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Support the assessment and selection of potential sites for data centre developments.
• Assist with technical feasibility studies, including site infrastructure reviews and development constraints analysis.
• Contribute to data centre capacity planning by analysing key technical and operational requirements.
• Review utility availability, including power, water, and connectivity considerations, to support development recommendations.
• Assist engineering teams with the evaluation of both greenfield developments and existing asset acquisition opportunities.
• Conduct market, site, and technical research to support advisory engagements and client deliverables.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation for internal and client-facing purposes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to gather information and support project execution.
• Analyse data and develop insights to support strategic decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  

About You

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering,  Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in data centre infrastructure, engineering, and development projects.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate findings clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
