About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Design Reviewer to support the design review and technical assurance of a major highway infrastructure project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing electrical designs and ensuring that all proposed systems comply with project requirements, international standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineer or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 15 years of cumulative experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience related to design of electrical installations and distribution network in Highway roads or large road projects.
• Have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 Highway Road design projects of similar nature.
• Preferably a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 2 years.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Responsible for reviewing the design of the electrical installations, distribution network etc. for the Public Street light, in conformance with the DBF Contract.
• Male or female
