What you'll do
- Assist Journeymen, Apprentices, and Foremen with daily electrical installation activities while following instructions and company procedures.
- Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and electrical materials throughout the jobsite.
- Assist with measuring, drilling, mounting supports, pulling wire, assembling conduit, and installing electrical components under direct supervision.
- Maintain, clean, and properly store company tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient jobsite operations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and PPE requirements.
- Participate in weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Assist with organizing and tracking jobsite materials and notify supervisors of damaged or missing materials.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn electrical installation techniques, jobsite safety practices, and proper tool usage while developing the skills necessary to advance within the company.
- Work cooperatively with all crew members while maintaining a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
