Electronics Inspector

 

IPC Certified Electronic Inspector needed in Greece, covering Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.

 

We are hiring a highly skilled Electronics Inspector with IPC expertise to support the inspection of electronic assemblies, harnesses, and circuit board products for aerospace and defence customers.

 

Electronics Inspectors Responsibilities 

 

• The Electronics Inspector will inspect electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), harnesses, and wiring according to IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, etc.).
• Inspect electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), wiring harnesses, and cable assemblies in accordance with IPC standards, including:IPC-A-610 IPC/WHMA-A-620
• Verify workmanship, assembly quality, soldering standards, and product conformity against aerospace and defence requirements.
• Conduct detailed inspections at supplier manufacturing facilities and production site 
• Verify product compliance and approve conformity prior to shipment
• Review supplier quality documentation, manufacturing records, and inspection reports
• Ensure traceability and accurate maintenance of inspection records

Electronics Inspector Requirements

 

• Electronics Inspector must be qualified and worked to IPC standard
• Electronics Inspector must have a minimum of 7 years quality and/or engineering expertise in the aerospace and defence industries.
• Proven background in mechanical inspection for aerospace, defence, or similar critical industries
• Previous experience with electronic assembly manufacturing processes such as SMT, Conformal coating, Component securing, potting, selective wave soldering, etc.) 
• Able to use functional tests such as Flying probe, ICT, Cable tester & BST

 

Responsibilities

• Inspect electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), harnesses, and wiring according to IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, etc.).
• Verify workmanship, soldering, and assembly against aerospace and defence requirements.
• Review supplier quality records and certify product conformity before shipment.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformances, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are tracked.
• Provide technical support to suppliers to help resolve recurring issues.
• Deliver timely inspection reports and maintain traceable records.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 7 years quality and/or engineering expertise in the aerospace and defence industries.
• Proven background in mechanical inspection for aerospace, defence, or similar critical industries.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and aerospace specifications.
• Proficiency with measurement tools (CMM, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Experience in welding inspection, ideally holding CWI certification.
• Familiarity with NADCAP processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
