  • Troubleshoot complex electrical systems with some electronics
  • Familiar with electrical systems including, PLC, DC/AC drives, motors, HVAC, and power distributions
  • Estimate, procure parts, modify and install electrical equipment
  • Maintain housekeeping
  • Comply with safety rules including lock out/ tag out procedures.
  • Comply with environmental regulations
  • Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Ensure ISO procedures are followed.
  • Understand and support Interface commitment to sustainability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Summary:  The Electrician I is responsible for trouble shooting electrical systems, up-grading electrical devices and equipment , as well as general plant  

facilities modernization.

Educational requirements:  

  • High school diploma or GED required  

  • Tech school certificate preferred  

Skills and experience:  

  • Three to five years of manufacturing experience in the electrical craft
