About this role

Huawei's Heisenberg Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

In the Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) teams are rapidly growing and focused on advanced automotive technologies in multiple domains.

Join Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) as:

Engineer (Leased Labor 18-months) - Vehicle Dynamics Controls (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled candidate in Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics for vehicle stability, handling, and performance for human and Autonomous Driving Solution (ADS) features.

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding and interest in modeling of vehicle dynamics control strategies especially for highly automated vehicles. Your role in a multidisciplinary team requires collaboration with our global research and development community. Your will be working on future trends of technologies, architectures, requirements in Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics.

Your mission

  • Develop control algorithms for vehicle dynamics systems, (e.g. stability control, steer, brake and suspension control). Validate advanced, adaptive and robust control techniques.

  • Identify and monitor future technologies trends in automotive and support product strategy. Provide deeper understanding of the state of EU's technology industry.

Your areas of expertise

  • Master’s or higher degree in Automotive Engineering Control Systems or a related field, with a focus on vehicle dynamics or control systems.

  • Experience in developing control systems for vehicle dynamics or related automotive systems. Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics principles, kinematics, and control theory.

  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Octave/C/C++/or related tools for modeling and simulation.

  • Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team and fluent communication skills in English.
