Engineering Fitter – Cumbernauld

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Fitter to join our Engineering Department located at our Cumbernauld Base. This role is a permanent full-time role, with a 28-day rotating shift pattern equating to an average of 35-hours per week across the cycle. The shift pattern comprises of 10-hour shifts on a cycle of 6 days on/4 days off, followed by 4 days on/6 days off. Key Responsibilities: Support line and base maintenance activities at any PDG base and, when occasionally required, at off-site locations. Support Certifying Engineers to undertake aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, current regulations, industry best practice, and company authorisations. Complete all assigned tasks safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with PDG policies, processes, and procedures. Ensure aircraft defects are accurately identified, documented, and recorded following debrief with operational crew members. Ensure the correct use, care, and maintenance of tooling and support equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Carry out aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes, and cleaning activities in support of operational requirements. Provide general engineering and operational support to the Engineering Department and wider business as required.
