Mechanical Assembler

I'm currently recruiting for a number of Mechanical Assemblers to join a well-established manufacturing business in Diss. These temporary to permanent opportunities offer immediate starts and are ideal for candidates with assembly, production or manufacturing experience who are looking for a long-term opportunity. Working as part of a busy production team, you'll be responsible for assembling products to a high standard, following work instructions and quality procedures, and ensuring production targets are met. Key Responsibilities: • Assembly of components and finished products • Following work instructions and technical documentation • Using a range of hand tools and assembly equipment • Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process • Identifying and reporting defects or issues • Working to production targets and deadlines • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment • Adhering to all health and safety proceduresRequirements for the role: • Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience preferred • Good attention to detail • Ability to follow instructions and work accurately • Reliable with a strong work ethic • Comfortable standing for extended periods and undertaking manual handling duties • Positive attitude and willingness to learnThe working Hours are Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:15pm and Friday: 7:30am to 1:30pm If you're looking for a hands-on role with a successful local employer and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, please contact Emily at Pure.
