What you'll do
- Coordinate and support the implementation of the hotel's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, maintain EHS documentation and records, and assist with incident reporting and investigations.
- Coordinate safety training, emergency preparedness activities, fire life safety programs, and environmental initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Monitor corrective actions and work closely with all departments to reduce risks and promote a strong safety culture throughout the property.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; communicate clearly and professionally with employees, contractors, and government authorities when required.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions, and equipment concerns to management.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
